Took and passed both Praxis tests the first time (General Test and Math Subject Test) Tutored students at Dauphin County Vo-Tech School during 1995-1996 school year in Algebra and Geometry. Volunteered at the junior college's Mathematics Lab while pursuing my degree (1991-1993). October 2013 - tutored students through WyzAnt.com. Tutored elementary school math students and Algebra 2 students. I love tutoring mathematics because I enjoy working with students one-on-one. The facial expression they give when they understand the material is very satisfying. I consider it an honor to help students by taking them step-by-step through the problem-solving process. I give students as many examples as possible so they can become confident and successful in math. I enjoy helping students achieve their goals. In today's world, having strong mathematics skills is a REQUIREMENT to obtain and keep a good-paying job.
